2. Before you can have driving lessons you'll need your provisional licence. at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) website or go to your post office and fill in form D1.

It will cost you £50 for your licence and you'll need a photo and one of the following ID: - full valid current passport - UK birth/adoption certificate - certificate of registry of birth (provided your name is present on the certificate) - identity card issued by a member state of the European Community/European Economic Area (EC/EEC)
